Safeguarding Africa’s Future through Conservation Education
COmON Foundation supports the Southern African Wildlife College (SAWC) with core funding in 2025 to ensure the continuity of one of Africa’s most vital conservation institutions. For nearly three decades, SAWC has trained the people who protect and restore the continent’s ecosystems, equipping more than 25,000 graduates from 63 countries with the skills to manage nature and livelihoods in balance.
At a time of financial turbulence, this support helps the College stabilise operations and carry forward its Strategy 2030, focused on building resilient landscapes and strong leadership for conservation across Africa. The strength of SAWC lies in its deep practical expertise, its rootedness in the field, and its power to connect science, communities, and action.
